121,290 visas were issued for health and care positions, showing a significant 157% increase.

The NHS and care sector faced staffing challenges, often hiring Indian and Nigerian to fill crucial roles.

To address over a million job vacancies, the government expanded the shortage occupation list. 

There's a surge in student visas with 54% increase in sponsored study visas , totaling 142,848 granted.

This represents a substantial increase of 49,883 visas compared to the previous year.
