Three successive Express Entry draws were held by IRCC inviting 2000, 800, and 1,500 candidates respectively with different minimum CRS scores.
Canada held all program round of Express Entry invitations on 1 August. 2000 candidates were issued invitations with a cut-off CRS score of 517.
A category-based draw was held by the IRCC for candidates with French Proficiency on the second of August. With a minimum CRS score of 435, 800 ITAs were issued to those who are eligible for the category. On 12 July, the previous targeted draw for French speakers took place.
In the first-ever targeted category-based Express Entry draw for candidates in the trades, the department issued 1500 Invitations to Apply on the third of August. A CRS cut-off of 388 was required.
Most Recent Express Entry Results
July 11-12
To apply for permanent residency, 3,800 candidates were invited by IRCC under a category-based selection draw for French-speaking candidates. Candidates required a minimum of 375 CRS score which was the lowest CRS score for any Express Entry by a significant margin this year. On July 11, 800 candidates were invited to an all-program draw with a CRS cut-off score of 505.
July 4-7
For the first time in the history of Express Entry, ITAs were issued on four consecutive days as seen in the first week of July.
In an all-program Express Entry draw on July 4, 700 candidates were invited by IRCC which was an unexpected draw. They required a minimum CRS score of 511. For any all-program draw, it is the highest CRS score so far.
For candidates with work experience in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) occupations, a previously announced category-based selection draw is held by IRCC on July 5. The first ever Category Based Express Entry Draw for STEM was held by IRCC since category-based selection draw categories were announced on May 31.
With a cut-off CRS score of 486, IRCC invited 500 candidates. The draw on July 6 was also expected. 1500 Candidates were invited by IRCC in the third round of Express Entry Category-Based Draw with cut-off CRS score of 463. It was the second round of draws for this category.
On July 7, Express Entry candidates with a cut-off CRS score of 439 and strong French-speaking abilities were issued 2,300 invitations. French-speaking abilities were the only category-based selection criterion that was not occupation-specific.
June 27-28
In the last week of June, IRCC held two draws. The first was an all-program draw with a cut-off CRS score of 486 on June 27, in which 4,300 candidates were invited.
A Cut-off CRS score of 476 was required by candidates in the draw followed by the first-ever category-based selection round of invitations the next day. IRCC invited 500 candidates who had work experience in healthcare occupations.
